Beloved clients I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with for over a decade downsized their traditional Shaker Heights home we designed together and relocated to a beautiful, historic, condominium building built in 1922. It was an enjoyable and challenging assignment completely overhauling the entire 3000 sq. ft. space and incorporating all of my clients existing furnishings and extensive art collection from their travels all over the world and making space for all of their many books. Major work went into bringing this long neglected unit up to date. Ceiling lighting was added throughout the space making the existing architectural details and ones that were added be more prominent. A new, modern kitchen, laundry room and two bathrooms were completely renovated. We were even able to add a powder room complete with an arched door that didn’t exist before by exposing a small area behind the kitchen pantry-it’s like a jewel box. Every inch of this space was lovingly addressed of this charming and historically rich home.
