This beautiful, family home, built in the 1940’s has been a labor of love over the past couple of years. There are many layers to this warm and welcoming house, there is meaning behind most every object. The sunroom is a retreat for lounging, literature and nature, a custom commissioned metal wall sculpture completes the space with literary and personal family references hidden within it’s branches. The kitchen is full of life with organic inspired wallcovering and gorgeous green granite countertops. This ongoing project includes two very special bedroom renovations, where my clients, recent empty nesters, lovingly preserved their two adult daughters mementos from their childhood bedrooms and worked them into the renovations. The through-line for this project is family, literature, nature, inspiration and love.
